Calvary Church celebrates the fact that “God so loved the world that he gave his only Son.” [John 3:16] We worship a God who not only “gives,” but “gives generously.” As we consider the generosity of God and the fact that He joyfully gives us Jesus we understand Paul’s true statement: “God loves a cheerful giver.” [2 Corinthians 9:7b]  The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will reap bountifully [2 Corinthians 9:6]
